Problems I solve

  • Our team needs a faster, easier-to-maintain content website.
  • Editors have to ask a developer for every content or SEO change.
  • We want to move from WordPress without breaking existing links.
  • Our agency needs help connecting Sanity content to an Astro frontend.

What I do

An Astro developer for content-driven websites

Build a focused website around your content and audience. Astro keeps pages lean while interactive components are added where they help visitors.

  • Responsive page templates
  • Accessible navigation and components
  • Metadata, structured data and sitemap setup

Sanity CMS development

Make content manageable without asking editors to touch code. As your Sanity CMS developer, I model reusable content and connect it to the website.

  • Reusable page, service and article schemas
  • Editor-controlled SEO, images and alt text
  • Validation, references and preview planning
  • Publishing and rebuild workflows

WordPress to Astro migration

Move with a content and URL plan. I audit the current site, map the content into Sanity and rebuild the pages in Astro while protecting the links people already use.

  • Inventory content and media
  • Preserve URLs or define redirects
  • Migrate structured content and image descriptions
  • Check forms, internal links and SEO output

Support for agencies and content teams

Looking for Sanity agency support or a developer to work alongside your team? I can help with schema design, frontend implementation and a maintainable handover.

  • Collaborate with designers and editors
  • Document content models and publishing steps
  • Create reusable templates for future pages

How I work

The work moves from an agreed content model to templates, content transfer and launch checks. Existing sites stay in place until the replacement is ready.

  1. Audit content, URLs and requirements
  2. Model Sanity content and build Astro templates
  3. Migrate and review content
  4. Verify responsive behavior, forms and redirects

Frequently asked questions

Can you migrate our WordPress website to Astro?

Yes. The work starts with a content and URL audit, followed by content modeling, template development, migration and redirect checks.

Can editors manage SEO in Sanity?

Yes. SEO titles, descriptions, social images and indexing controls can be exposed as fields in Studio.

Will our existing URLs change?

The goal is to preserve useful existing URLs. Where a change is necessary, we agree and test redirects.

Can you work with our designer or agency?

Yes. I can implement supplied designs and collaborate on content models, frontend templates and publishing workflows.

How does publishing work?

The publishing workflow depends on hosting. For a static Astro setup, published Sanity changes need a website rebuild, which can be connected to a webhook.

Is Astro right for every WordPress website?

No. We review plugins, dynamic features and editor requirements before recommending a migration. Some projects are better served by improving the existing site.
